This tutorial is for BestFTP Explorer. Do a search at Google.com or somewhere for 'BestFTP Explorer download'. You can probably get it free :) If it says it's just a free trial, there is a way to get it for free. When you open the program and the 'Continue' box isn't highlighted, just keep closing the program and opening it again until you can click 'Continue' and it will last forever.1. Login to your FTP by clicking the lightning button and entering your details. In the 'Remote Explorer' window (should be on the right hand side), right click the file or folder that needs to be CHMODed.
2. Click on 'Change Permission...' A box should appear with several smaller checkboxes in. If you wanted to CHMOD something to 666 for example, then check the boxes until the total at the bottom of each row says 6. For any other number, just play around with the checks until you get the combination you want. It's easy enough to figure out :D
